Yes, Home Project Hero is free to book home services, request project quotes, and research local pros and pricing. There are also paid memberships at a one time yearly fee, which allows you to receive discounted 10 -20% off all home services, more personalized attention, access to additional features. 

Home Project Hero believes in keeping things simple. Become a member when you start a new project, book home fixed service or you can sign up by clicking the sign up now button throughout the website. Members are more than welcome to sign up for Free. 

How your membership discount is applied: When a member is logged into their Home Project Hero account and book a fixed price project, your 20% discount is automatically applied at checkout. If you’re not logged in and are booking a fixed price project, you will be prompted to log in with your email at checkout.

Pricing is subject to our Membership Agreement. Members may view their plan information, including renewal date, by visiting the Manage My Account page.

Yes, all professionals on the Home Project Hero platform must pass a criminal background check. However, a background check on every employee of a business is not possible and are performed on the business owners only. The majority of the professionals we do business with have run background checks on all their employees. As always, we recommend that you perform your own research on the businesses you choose to hire, including making inquiries directly with them regarding their employee background check policies. Please note that some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers, or independent contractors. The above screening process is not applicable to corporate accounts or corporate businesses. 

Home Project Hero has done all the homework to ensure you are presented with fair service pricing and accurate local cost information. The pricing guides configure what other members of your area paid for different home projects. You can rest assured that all of the pricing you see on Home Project Hero is based on data collected from millions of real home projects, provided by real homeowners just like you.

When you are requesting quotes and working directly with the pros on your projects, you should always get at least three quotes and pay close attention to their bids and contracts.
